New Radium Hospital 2024

New Radium Hospital 2024

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Between 2019 and 2024, two new buildings have been constructed at the Radium Hospital: a new clinic building and a proton therapy building. The clinic building houses many of the same activities that already take place at the hospital, while the proton therapy building contains advanced equipment for proton treatment – a therapy patients previously had to travel abroad to receive. In addition, the building will accommodate other activities related to radiation therapy at the Radium Hospital.

The client and owner of the project is Helse Sør Øst RHF (South Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority).

In the summer of 2023, work began on the facades and interior installations.
