FARA Wastewater Treatment Plant
FARA is set to become a modern and future-oriented wastewater treatment plant serving both Fredrikstad and Hvaler. The facility is being constructed at the Øra industrial area in Fredrikstad and will consist of two main buildings: one for water treatment and one for sludge treatment.
The new plant is designed to meet both current and future wastewater treatment requirements, with the capacity to handle population growth and changing environmental conditions. The project is led by PPM Prosjekt, in collaboration with AF Bygg Østfold, Cambi, Enwa, and ABB. Together, they have developed robust and sustainable solutions for a facility scheduled to be operational in 2026.
For this project, Jotne Ankers will supply a wide range of steel structures and railing solutions, including baluster railings in concrete staircases, various industrial stairs ranging from two steps to three stories, ramps, walkways, and ladders, both indoors and outdoors. We will also deliver a spiral staircase with cage, baluster railings, and industrial guardrails strategically placed throughout the facility.
