New logistics and vehicle centre in Drammen
A new and extensive logistics and vehicle centre is currently under construction at Holmen in Drammen. Jotne Ankers will supply a range of steel components for the project, including small and large steel staircases, handrails for concrete staircases, industrial handrails, as well as railings for balconies and terraces.
The delivery will contribute to functional and safe solutions throughout the new facility, which will have a total area of more than 50,000 m². The centre will include areas for vehicle preparation, office and service facilities, a parking garage and vehicle ramps.
The project is being developed for Bertel O. Steen Eiendom in cooperation with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Inland Services, with Strøm Gundersen AS as the main contractor. Construction started in spring 2026, and the project is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2027.
