New Stavanger university hospital
Today’s hospital in the center of Stavanger is too small, and there is a need for new and larger premises to meet expectations for population growth and future needs for special health services. That is why Helse Stavanger HF is building a new hospital at Ullenhaug, which is a few kilometers outside Stavanger city center.
Jotne Ankers will deliver the metal work for this project. The main delivery is steel stairs both inside and outside, but 900 meters of railings and 3000 meters of handrails will also be delivered to the new hospital. All this will consist of 300 tonnes of steel, which to a large extent leaves the factory at Flateby.
The contract for Jotne Ankers has a total value of NOK 54 million including VAT.
The first construction stage of the new Stavanger University Hospital will be completed in 2023.
