Nidarvoll school og rehabilitation center

Skanska Norge AS continues the further development of the Nidarvoll projects for Trondheim municipality.

The projects consist of the rehabilitation of a new school and a new rehabilitation center on the existing site of Nidarvoll school and Nidarvoll health center.

Nidarvoll school and Sunnland school will be co-located, and will provide space for 1,000 pupils at the primary and lower secondary level. The schools cover approximately 16,000 square meters, and consist of two main wings on two and four floors.

New rehabilitation center covers approximately 10,000 square meters over four floors. 72 short-term places are planned for rehabilitation as well as associated training and office facilities. The areas between the school and the rehabilitation center are connected by a large outdoor area.

The rehabilitation center is scheduled to be completed in April 2023, and the school will be handed over in November 2023.

Jotne Ankers will deliver a total of 6 straight stairs to Nidarvoll school, where 3 of the stairs are of the interior type with oak handrails.

To the rehabilitation center, Jotne Ankers will deliver 2 galvanized escape stairs that will extend over 5 floors.
