Oslo Cancer Cluster Innovation Park
Strøm Gundersen is constructing a new research and office building for Oslo Cancer.
Cluster.Strøm Gundersen, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has signed a design and build contract in collaboration with Oslo Cancer Cluster Innovasjonspark AS for the construction of OCCI – Lamell 4.
The project includes a new 12,000 m² office and research building, serving as an extension of the existing OCCI buildings (Lamell 1–3). The new facility will consist of seven floors above ground and two basement levels, totaling nine floors.
The building will feature flexible office layouts, research areas, and laboratories. A canteen and conference center are planned for the ground and first floors. The basement levels will accommodate technical rooms, storage, changing facilities, and bicycle parking. There are also plans under consideration for establishing a rehabilitation center for cancer patients on level U1. Level U2 will be connected to the existing basement of the adjacent building.
The project is already underway and is expected to be completed by December 2025.
For this project, Jotne Ankers will supply interior steel staircases, exterior steel staircases and walkways, vertical bar railings in interior concrete staircases, vertical bar railings along interior floor edges, and vertical bar railings on exterior ramps and deck edges.
