ABOUT THE PROJECT

In the spring of 2017, one of Norway’s most extensive urban development projects was completed at Sørenga in Oslo. The area was purchased in 2007 by Sørenga Utvikling from Oslo Municipality and Hav Eiendom, and shortly after, work began to transform the former container port into a modern and attractive residential area by the fjord.

By the autumn of 2011, the first families were able to move into the first construction phase. Each phase has its own architectural character, and during the first half of 2017, the final apartments in phases seven and eight were ready for occupancy.

AF Gruppen had overall responsibility for the construction of phases seven and eight, which included groundwork, foundation work, and the construction of a total of 124 apartments across two buildings.
